These arrays are purpose-built to the customer’s requirements. They will interface to most standard instrumentation amplifiers and to Konigsberg Instruments’ Biotelemetry encoders.
Designed specifically for biocompatibility and chronic implantation, on-going product improvement has kept these lead arrays at the forefront of technology. The biopotential arrays are made with Medical Grade Stainless Steel conductors with FEP Insulation and silicone outer sheaths. They are available in many different termination styles; we routinely build lead arrays from 2 to 17 leads. With the introduction of the new, Patent Pending, TK16 Dura Mater Electrode and deep brain array, a new level of chronic EEG recording is now possible. The TK16 is designed to greatly reduce the EMG interference from overlying mandibular muscles that is commonly found in bone screw and similar EEG lead attachment techniques.
